The adjustable strap fits most dogs with neck sizes from 10 to 26 inches (25–66 cm). This covers a wide range of breeds: Smaller dogs (e.g., Beagles, French Bulldogs, Corgis) — adjust to the tighter end of the range. Medium dogs (e.g., Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, Pit Bulls) — mid-range fit. Large dogs (e.g., German Shepherds, Labradors, Golden Retrievers) — looser end of the range. For growing puppies, check the fit frequently and adjust as they grow. Always leave room for 2–3 fingers between the collar and your pet's neck for comfort. If your dog's neck is smaller than 10 inches or larger than 26 inches, the collar may not be suitable — please contact support@meexh.com for guidance.
The strap is made from PVC silicone in our signature Matte Velvet Violet (purple) finish. This material was chosen for: Comfort — Soft and flexible against your pet's skin, reducing chafing and irritation. Durability — Resistant to tearing, stretching, and everyday wear from active dogs. Water resistance — Won't absorb water, making it easy to rinse and dry after swimming or rain. Easy cleaning — Wipe clean with a damp cloth; rinse with fresh water after saltwater exposure. The buckle and hardware are metal — built solid and rust-resistant. The collar also features a secondary buckle designed for clipping on a leash, so you don't need a separate harness for walks.

Replaces buried wire fences — Virtual fences require no installation, no digging, and no wires. You can create, move, or remove them anytime in the app. Portable — Take the collar anywhere: parks, camping trips, vacations, or a new home. Set up a virtual fence in minutes. Not a physical barrier — The collar provides feedback and alerts, but it cannot physically stop your pet. Always follow local leash laws and supervise your pet in high-risk areas (near roads, wildlife, etc.). Many customers use the Collar Max alongside a physical yard fence for an extra layer of safety — the virtual fence provides an early warning before your pet reaches the physical boundary.

The Collar Max is primarily designed for dogs. However, larger, collar-tolerant cats may use it if: The neck size falls within the 10–26 inch adjustable range. Your cat is comfortable wearing a collar for extended periods. You start with short wearing sessions and gradually increase duration. For smaller cats or very small dogs (under 10 inches neck size), the collar may be too large and heavy. Always prioritize your pet's comfort and safety. If you're unsure, consult your veterinarian before use, and start by letting your pet wear the collar briefly indoors while supervised. Important: Pets with medical conditions (heart disease, seizures, skin sensitivities), very young, elderly, pregnant, or post-surgery pets should be evaluated by a vet before using any electronic collar.
Yes, the Collar Max is designed for daily, extended wear. However, we recommend the following care routine: Remove the collar at least once a day to inspect your pet's neck for redness, irritation, sores, or hair loss. Clean the collar and your pet's neck regularly to prevent bacterial buildup, especially after swimming, rain, or sweaty activity. Give your pet collar-free time during rest periods indoors if comfortable. Check the fit regularly — especially for growing puppies or pets whose weight changes. With its long battery life (up to ~7 days), you'll only need to remove the collar for charging about once a week. Many owners charge it overnight while their pet sleeps.
